Great hidden gem. The food was delicious, with fork tender brisket. And the service was friendly. The atmosphere is a little bit sparse but it's smart, they left room to grow. We'll definitely be back.

I had the rib and brisket combo with cabbage and yams as my sides. Simply Delicious! The both the brisket and ribs were tender. The rib sauce (BBQ sauce) is tangy with a slight peppery kick. The BBQ sauce definitely stands out from the rest. I'm glad they decided to be stationed in Wilson, NC. They also have a food truck. The atmosphere is still giving new vibes. I like the clean look

New South just reopened after a fire in their first store caused them to close and eventually work from a food truck. Last week they opened their new store that offers dine in or take out. Their food is GREAT and service was excellent!! We are so glad we got to try it in their new place before our move!! So go check them out on Raleigh Road in the Hobby Lobby center. It is where the Chinese Buffet used to be...I promise you won't be disappointed!!
Florida girl here, so I am not a huge fan if the vinegar based BBQ. This place has The Southern BBQ I am used to and let me just say it was all amazing!!!. I got ribs and brisket with cabbage, yams and a side if baked beans so I could try a little of everything!! Did not disappoint. Thier homemade sauce is also very good. Now I just need me a little something sweet! We will definitely be back! My husband picked mine up and said we needed to go eat there because the inside is awesome as well!
